I live in San Antonio, and they have the hardest water in Texas. Which water softener is the best one out there ? Should i go for the salt free water softeners ? Any recommendations would be great ! Thanks

I researched water softeners for a couple of months before I purchased my Rayne system. I’ve had them in several homes and found the Sears and GE to be problematic. They usually broke down right when the warranty expired and the costs to repair was more than replacement. The Rayne system I bought has a lifetime warranty, has a separate tank for the potassium and is completely digital so it practically runs iteself. I also like potassium much better than the salt systems I had before. My system only regenerates when necessary and is based on the actual water usage. This is a real water saving feature. My unit came with a full stainless steel jacket, transformer and bypass which are all considered options on other units.
